Why Crimson Haze sells well in store
- The Greninja ex SAR is the set's big draw: the card your customers ask about before they buy.
- Only 3 gold URs in the whole expansion, so every box opening builds excitement.

The cards that sell Crimson Haze
Which hit each customer is after, and how to use it to move the box.
Top 1
Greninja ex SAR: the box headliner
SAR · 090/066Illustration: akagiGreninja, the Water-type starter from Kalos, is one of the most popular Pokémon in the series thanks to the anime and the games. akagi’s SAR is the card most customers buy Crimson Haze for, and you do not need to follow Scarlet and Violet to want it.
Shop tip: promote the box with this Greninja in the window and on social media. It is the card that draws in customers who would not normally look at a Paldea set.
Top 2
Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex UR: the gold card for openings
UR · 094/066Illustration: aky CG WorksBloodmoon Ursaluna is the face of the set, and its gold UR is the card everyone wants to see pulled live. A gold card of the headline Pokémon turns any opening, giveaway or in-store event into something people follow until the last pack.
If you run openings online or in store, this is the card that builds excitement; Ursaluna also has a SAR (91) and an SR (84), so there is more than one way to pull it from the box.
Top 3
Lana's Aid SAR: for Trainer collectors
SAR · 093/066Illustration: Toshinao AokiLana, an Alola trial captain from Pokémon Sun and Moon, stars in Toshinao Aoki’s Lana's Aid SAR. Trainer SARs have their own audience who buy regardless of Greninja, so the box has a third reason to buy.
Its SR (88) is a second version of the same card for customers who do not want to wait for the SAR.
Top 4
Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex and Perrin SAR: the Kitakami pair
SAR · 091/066Bloodmoon Ursaluna exIllustration: MINAMINAMI TakeSAR · 092/066PerrinIllustration: GIDORAMINAMINAMI Take’s Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex SAR and GIDORA’s Perrin SAR tell the same story: the photographer and the Pokémon she is looking for. Fans of the Scarlet and Violet downloadable content want them side by side.
Top 5
Sinistcha ex SAR: the set’s surprise
SAR · 089/066Illustration: SaboteriSaboteri’s Sinistcha ex SAR rounds off the five SARs in the box. It appeals to customers looking for something different, and pairs with the Poltchageist AR (68) by the same illustrator.
Top 6
Infernape and Eevee AR: what drives single-pack sales
AR · 070/066InfernapeIllustration: KrgcAR · 078/066EeveeIllustration: Narumi SatoARs turn up far more often than SARs, and Crimson Haze has two any customer will recognise: Infernape, the Fire-type starter from Sinnoh, and Eevee, one of the most collected Pokémon of all.
If you sell single packs, they are your best argument for customers coming back for "one more pack".

Crimson Haze (SV5a) fact sheet for your shop
Crimson Haze is the SV5a expansion of the Scarlet & Violet era, released in Japan on 22 March 2024. Each booster box holds 30 packs of 5 cards, with a 66-card set and 30 secret rares (067 to 096): 5 SAR, 3 UR, 10 SR and 12 AR.
Its headline Pokémon is Bloodmoon Ursaluna, the Kitakami Ursaluna that photographer Perrin is chasing in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet downloadable content, but the set mixes generations: Greninja ex from Kalos, Lana from Alola, and Infernape and Eevee among the ARs. It came out after Wild Force and before Mask of Change, which completes the Kitakami story with Ogerpon and Carmine.

Where can I buy Crimson Haze booster boxes wholesale?
Don Bananza is a Pokémon card distributor for shops and verified trade customers: we supply the Crimson Haze Japanese booster box with wholesale pricing for approved customers and shipping from Spain across Europe, subject to availability.
Which card sells the Crimson Haze box?
The Greninja ex SAR (090/066) is the big draw, and the gold Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex UR (094/066) is the one that builds excitement at openings. The Lana's Aid SAR (093/066) follows, then the Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex (091/066) and Perrin (092/066) SARs.
Should I sell Crimson Haze as sealed boxes or single packs?
Both work. Collectors after the Greninja ex, the gold Ursaluna or the Lana SAR buy the sealed box; single packs suit customers happy with an AR such as Infernape or Eevee, which turn up more often.
What is in the Crimson Haze Japanese booster box?
30 packs of 5 cards (150 cards in total). The set has 66 cards and 30 secret rares: 5 SAR, 3 UR, 10 SR and 12 AR.
When was Crimson Haze released?
Crimson Haze is the SV5a expansion of Scarlet & Violet and was released in Japan on 22 March 2024, between Wild Force and Mask of Change.
