Why Nihil Zero sells well in store

  • The Mega Zygarde ex SAR is the set's big draw: the card your customers ask about before they buy.
  • Only one gold MUR in the whole expansion, so every box opening builds excitement.
  • 37 secret rares across 30 packs per box: it sells just as well as a sealed box, as single packs or in live openings.
  • Japanese edition: a favourite with collectors for its print quality and price per pack.

Which hit each customer is after, and how to use it to move the box.

    Top 1

Rosa's Encouragement SAR: the most sought-after card

    SAR · 115/080Illustration: Iori Suzuki

Unlike other MEGA sets, the big hit here is not the cover Pokémon but a Trainer: Rosa, the heroine of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, in Iori Suzuki’s SAR. Trainer SARs have a loyal audience that buys boxes for them alone.

Shop tip: promote the box with Rosa as well as Zygarde. It is the card Trainer collectors ask about most.

  2. Mega Zygarde ex MUR (117/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by takuyoa

    Top 2

Mega Zygarde ex MUR: the box-opening hook

    MUR · 117/080Illustration: takuyoa

The only MUR in the set is the gold Mega Zygarde ex. That rarity turns any live opening, giveaway or in-store event into something people want to watch until the last pack.

If you run openings online or in store, this is the card that builds excitement and brings in new customers.

  3. Meowth ex SAR (114/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by Natsumi YoshidaMeowth ex SR (100/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by 5ban Graphics

Meowth ex SAR: the one every customer recognises

Meowth is one of the most popular Pokémon thanks to the animated series, and Natsumi Yoshida’s SAR is the second most sought-after card in the set. It appeals to casual buyers, families and gift shoppers, not just collectors.

Meowth ex also has an SR: a second chance for customers opening single packs.

  4. Mega Starmie ex SAR (111/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by takuyoaMega Clefable ex SAR (112/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by Cona NitandaClefairy AR (086/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by Cona Nitanda

After Rosa and Meowth, the Mega Starmie SAR is one of the most sought-after. Mega Clefable, by Cona Nitanda, pairs with the Clefairy AR by the same illustrator: an easy target to explain at the counter.

Customers who collect every Mega of the MEGA era never skip a set, so it is a good moment to offer them Inferno X (M2) and the sets that follow, Ninja Spinner (M4) and Abyss Eye (M5).

  5. Mega Zygarde ex SAR (113/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by kantaroYveltal ex SR (098/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by 5ban Graphics

    SAR · 113/080Mega Zygarde exIllustration: kantaroSR · 098/080Yveltal exIllustration: 5ban Graphics

Zygarde and Yveltal are two of the Kalos Legendaries, and the set adds Lumiose City as a Stadium. It is the perfect angle for customers nostalgic for Pokémon X and Y, who buy by region and Legendaries rather than by rarity.

  6. Rowlet AR (082/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by ryoma uratsukaDecidueye ex SR (093/080) from Nihil Zero M3, illustrated by 5ban Graphics

Rowlet is one of the best-loved starters and a big favourite with kids and families. As an AR it turns up more often than the SARs, and its final evolution, Decidueye ex, is an SR: an achievable target that keeps customers coming back for "one more pack".

Nihil Zero FAQ

Where can I buy Nihil Zero booster boxes wholesale?

Don Bananza is a Pokémon card distributor for shops and verified trade customers: we supply the Nihil Zero (Munikis Zero) Japanese booster box with wholesale pricing for approved customers and shipping from Spain across Europe.

Which card sells the Nihil Zero box?

The Rosa's Encouragement SAR (115/080) is the most sought-after card, followed by the Meowth ex SAR (114/080). The gold Mega Zygarde ex MUR (117/080), the only MUR in the set, is the one that builds excitement at openings.

Should I sell Nihil Zero as sealed boxes or single packs?

Both work. Collectors chasing the Rosa SAR or the Zygarde MUR buy the sealed box; single packs suit younger customers and families looking for Meowth, Rowlet or Clefairy, which turn up more often as ARs and SRs.

What is in the Nihil Zero Japanese booster box?

30 packs of 5 cards (150 cards in total). The set has 80 cards and 37 secret rares: 6 SAR, 1 MUR, 12 AR and 18 SR.

Are Nihil Zero and Munikis Zero the same set?

Yes. Munikis Zero is the romanisation of the Japanese name (ムニキスゼロ) and Nihil Zero its English name: it is the M3 expansion of Pokémon TCG MEGA, released in Japan on 23 January 2026.
