Why Legacy of the Master sells well in store

  • Marshall.D.Teach is the set's big draw: the card your customers ask about before they buy.
  • Each SEC comes in several versions (parallels, manga…): more versions, more reasons to open another box.
  • 24 packs per box: it sells just as well as a sealed box, as single packs or in live openings.
  • Japanese edition: a favourite with many collectors for its print quality and price per pack.

The cards that sell Legacy of the Master

Which card each type of customer is after and how to use it to move the box.

  1. Marshall.D.Teach SP OP09-093 (Gold SP), One Piece Card Game Legacy of the Master (OP-12) card

    Top 1

Marshall.D.Teach gold SP: the big draw of the set

    SP · OP09-093Gold SP

Blackbeard's gold SP belongs to the game's third-anniversary series and is the most wanted card in OP-12. It is Teach's OP09-093 card with a gold finish you can spot at a glance.

Tip for your shop: this is the card to promote before a live box opening. A gold finish looks great on camera and on social media, and Blackbeard has a loyal following.

  2. Marshall.D.Teach SP OP09-093 (Silver SP), One Piece Card Game Legacy of the Master (OP-12) card

    Top 2

Marshall.D.Teach silver SP: the other side of the anniversary

    SP · OP09-093Silver SP

The same Blackbeard SP in silver is the second most wanted card. Two finishes of the same character mean two different targets in the same box.

Tip for your shop: make sure customers know there is a gold and a silver version. Whoever pulls one usually wants the other, and that sells single packs.

  3. Jewelry Bonney SEC OP12-118 (Manga (super parallel)), One Piece Card Game Legacy of the Master (OP-12) card

    Top 3

Jewelry Bonney manga SEC: the set's own big card

    SEC · OP12-118Manga (super parallel)

Bonney's SEC with black-and-white manga panels is the most wanted of the cards that belong to OP-12 itself. Bonney has a loyal following, and her manga is the goal for anyone collecting the character.

Tip for your shop: for customers who are not chasing the anniversary cards, this is the card that justifies the box. Put it front and centre when you talk about the set.

  4. Demon Aura Nine Sword Style Asura Blades Drawn Dead Man's Game R OP12-037 (Parallel 1), One Piece Card Game Legacy of the Master (OP-12) card

Legacy of the Master FAQ

Where can I buy OP-12 Legacy of the Master booster boxes wholesale?

Don Bananza is a One Piece card distributor for shops and verified trade customers: we supply the OP-12 Legacy of the Master Japanese booster box at wholesale prices for approved customers, shipping from Spain across Europe, subject to availability.

Which card sells the OP-12 Legacy of the Master box?

The Marshall.D.Teach gold SP (OP09-093) is the big card of the set, followed by its silver SP and the Jewelry Bonney manga SEC (OP12-118). Behind them come the Zoro parallel R with manga art (OP12-037) and the Zoro-Juurou and Ace SPs.

What are the OP-12 gold and silver SPs?

They are special versions of Blackbeard's card (OP09-093) from the game's third-anniversary series: the same SP card with a gold or a silver finish. The gold one is the most wanted and the silver one is close behind.

Should I sell OP-12 by the box or as single packs?

Both. Sealed boxes appeal to collectors going for the gold or silver Blackbeard and the Bonney manga; single packs suit Zoro or Ace fans happy with an SP or a parallel. In a live opening, gold and silver are a hook that is very easy to explain.

When was OP-12 Legacy of the Master released?

OP-12 Legacy of the Master (師弟の絆) was released in Japan on 31 May 2025. Each booster box contains 24 packs of 6 cards (144 cards in total).
