Why Romance Dawn sells well in store
- Shanks is the set's big draw: the card your customers ask about before they buy.
- Each SEC comes in several versions (parallels, manga…): more versions, more reasons to open another box.
- 24 packs per box: it sells just as well as a sealed box, as single packs or in live openings.
- Japanese edition: a favourite with many collectors for its print quality and price per pack.

The cards that sell Romance Dawn
Which card each type of customer is after and how to use it to move the box.
Top 1
Shanks manga SEC: the game's first manga card
SEC · OP01-120Manga (super parallel)The manga version of the Shanks SEC was the first manga card in One Piece Card Game and remains the icon of Romance Dawn. For collectors it is a piece of history: the card where the manga cards began.
Careful when you display it: Shanks also has an alternate-art version with his name in large letters, which is far easier to find. The one collectors want is the manga, with black-and-white panels.
Tip for your shop: this is the card to advertise the box with. The first set and its most famous card explain on their own why the box is still in demand.
Top 2
Monkey.D.Luffy parallel leader: a close-up of the main character
L · OP01-003Alternate artThe parallel Luffy leader, with a close-up of his face, is the second most wanted card in the set. Luffy in the game's first set appeals both to collectors and to players who want their leader in its best version.
Tip for your shop: leaders turn up more often than the manga SEC, so they are the realistic target for customers buying single packs.
Top 3
Roronoa Zoro parallel leader: for Zoro fans
L · OP01-001Alternate artZoro's leader follows the same style as Luffy's, with a close-up of his face. Zoro has one of the most loyal followings in the series, and his parallel leader is the card those customers look for in Romance Dawn.
Top 4
Nami parallel R and Trafalgar Law parallel leader
R · OP01-016Nami · Parallel 2L · OP01-002Trafalgar Law · Parallel 1The Nami parallel R and the Law parallel leader round off the most wanted cards in the set. Both are popular characters and give single-pack customers more reasons to keep opening.
Top 5
Roronoa Zoro parallel SR: Zoro's second chance
SR · OP01-025Parallel 1Zoro also has a parallel SR. Zoro fans who miss the leader have another of his cards to chase in the same box.

Romance Dawn FAQ
Where can I buy OP-01 Romance Dawn booster boxes wholesale?
Don Bananza is a One Piece card distributor for shops and verified trade customers: we supply the OP-01 Romance Dawn Japanese booster box at wholesale prices for approved customers, shipping from Spain across Europe, subject to availability.
Which card sells the OP-01 Romance Dawn box?
The Shanks manga SEC (OP01-120), the game's first manga card, is the set's big card. It is followed by the parallel leaders of Monkey.D.Luffy (OP01-003) and Roronoa Zoro (OP01-001), then the Nami parallel R and the Trafalgar Law parallel leader.
Why does OP-01 still sell if it is the first set?
Precisely because of that: it is the set One Piece Card Game started with and home to the first manga card, Shanks. Collectors who want the start of the collection look for it, and so do newcomers discovering the game who want its first cards.
Should I sell OP-01 by the box or as single packs?
Both work. Sealed boxes appeal to collectors going for the Shanks manga or keeping the box sealed; single packs suit fans happy with a Luffy or Zoro parallel leader. A live opening of the game's first set always draws interest.
When was OP-01 Romance Dawn released?
OP-01 Romance Dawn was released in Japan on 22 July 2022 and is the first One Piece Card Game set. Each booster box contains 24 packs of 6 cards (144 cards in total).
